Unhappy 99 GP 760 Porpoise problems

Just bought this ski used at the begging of the summer. When the water has any chop at the ski does not stay hooked up and has a terrible porpoise problem, and put 2 people on it and forget it, may as well ride a wild bronco. I keep reading about this being a common problem but have not been able to find any post with suggestions to help. Any ideas?

Riva or Protec trim tabs will help, I'm not sure if they still make them though. A stock 97 GP1200 ride plate is longer and will also help.

yeah get the 97 plate and get 6 flat washers, 1/2"hole, and put 3 under each of the rear bolts spacing down the back of the ride plate. That should end the bounce.
