Lake Weatherford Ride???
I've got a place on lake weatherford and I want to organize a Green Hulk dfw get together. I'd like to ride with other people with ski's and not my bum friends that don't realize contributing 5 gals of gas doesn't last all summer .
We've got plenty of spots to pitch tents if you are hardcore, or the cabin that has A/C sleeps at least 8... I'd really like to line something up this summer. Hit me up with a PM or something or let's keep this thread going... have a gas grill, dock, sandish beach....
Smaller lake, not much traffic, spots to set up bouys, take 20 towards weatherford and exit 415 pm me for more info...
I drink beer... and keep it normal . Always a great time!

Sounds like fun. We'll take a look at a map and maybe do a day trip?
Lets' work on it.
75 minutes from the house, not bad.
Come on Arlington guys, probably 20 minutes for ya'll!

I might be able to make it, also, depending on the weekend. Sounds like fun!

Let's start tossing dates around and make this a reality!
My schedule consists of going to the lake every weekend except July 26th my buddy is having a going away party...
Any other weekend is fair game, I'm normally out all day Saturday, and most of Sunday...

Well I think there is a thing going on at lewisville on the 2nd so 19th or 9th. Texas parks and wildlife says the ramp is good enough for Aluminim fishing boats does this mean we will be the only boats on the lake for the most part? that would be cool

From the two that responded let's roll with Aug 19th, I work half days on Fridays so if someone wants to get a "full weekend" outta the deal I'm down for that.
I'll upload some pics to give an idea of the setup, my neighbors are cool (one is rarely out) so if you have an anchor there is plenty of space to park the skis or always tie to one of the docks...
I saw the game warden once this year at the marina writing tickets from his truck... The weatherford pd has a boat... but it only comes out on Holidays!!!! This is a very calm lake, but I'd like to change that for a weekend!
Let me dig thru the pics... It's 5 bucks to launch at the marina, I've got decent parking, but like I said it's real low key out there so if you leave your rig at the marina it's cool.
