How much and what kinda oil do you use i have just redone the motor and someone said i need to put oil in there so i dont know what to use.

1.35oz of SAE 30 motor oil is what the manual calls for. I used synthetic gear oil when I rebuilt my 98 GTXL, two years now and no problems.
You do realize that I've now jinxed myself and it will go boom on the next ride .

Looks like the manual specifies every 50 hours, minimum
good to see the truth posted over here, and not allot of clicky garbage like over at PWCtoday.
I'm personally going to do it every 10-15 hours, won't hurt anything, it'll just blow out the pipe if it gets over filled, better safe than sorry, that could take out your whole engine, very expensive fix.
Go see what bill o said, when I tried to help someone on PWCToday about this question.

I have always wondered about checking the oil in there but short of pulling the pipe it's almost impossible to get to the fill plug. Do any 951 guys check this regularly ? If it runs dry it will ruin your day.
