In the early morning here the temp has been around 74 degrees but the humidity usually is 85-90% at that time. As the temp rises the humidty goes down.

At 1:00 PM the temp was 84 and the humidity is 55%, so which would be the best for speed, the high temps or high humidity ?

Low air temp w/ hi humidity will make the air denser thus more horsepower and better performance. Warmer air is thinner air thus less performance. Plus the water in humid air contains oxygen (H2O) which should improve combustion (up to a certain point).
