    Low end mods

So I am pretty new to PWC and i feel the 68-70 my RXT X will give me is more than sufficient for my tastes. The LI sound is rarely flat.

I am a mod kinda guy and want no more top speed.
So what mods can be doen to add even more holehot and acceleration
    without adding any top end.
    Thanks in advance.

One usually goes hand in hand with the other. Increasing holeshot will also affect top end somewhat. For starters an aftermarket air intake will help along with a more aggresive prop.

DO NOT touch the venturi nozzle.

Ya i figured this to a point.
But i figured there is also some mods that will give top end and effectively lose holeshot as well.

So what prop is recommended for better throttle repsonse?
Ive been looking into the RIVA Intake and removing the arrestor

Whatever is coming with the Stage I kit from Riva. Not sure on the pitch of that prop. I doubt it is the same as the RXT stage I kit as you have more hp. Maybe a wedge to help get on plane faster and skegs. You will not need the adjustable venturi rings as they are made for top end increases.

I run stock X empeller at my elevation with +1mm at 8,060 rpm.
Last week i ran 15/22 at 500 ft stock and it was right on target, 8,040 rpm.
To me the 15/22 was maybe slower on holeshot then the stock prop setup, and that is with both props running correct rpm per conditon.

I think that a 3 blade will yield you more acceleration and holeshot, but not many have done the mod so not much info floating arround on T-X with 3 blade. Since pump and hull are same as RXT try searching info on 3 blade props on RXT or GTX with like rude wheel and that should give you idea of if it will yield more acceleration. I know for fact on RXP platform the 3 blade will yield more acceleration but lack on top if you dont have enough ponies.
I would assume you need like a 15/19 + some pitch 3 blade on X.

A stock RXP prop and a 2 degree wedge, Riva intake, remove resonator and fill the plate holes. That`ll get ya grunt! Oh and buy a good used charger wheel. Like the RR wheel. I did an `05 RXT like this and its been so reliable. Metal washers at this point dont need to be said.
You`ll be happy with these mods. You should net right at 74 mph. On glass. Holeshot will deffinately get you air for jumping the pig.

Hoss, this is a RXT-X, Don't need another SC wheel and the stock grate is probably the best for low end as it keeps the pump full with the aggressive wings.
