785 pro carbs on 780... One carb is always off...

    Hey all,
I have been struggling with tuning this beast for ever. I have 785 pro carbs on a 780 engine with tau ceti filters. The outside carbs feed the middle carb and I have a shorter pulse line on one carb and a longer one on the other. One pulse line goes to the reed spacer on the front, and the back carb has a pulse line to the stock 780 crank case outlet. Would this really affect the tuning and running condition of the carbs/engine? I don't really want to tear the engine apart, but if that will fix it then hell yea I am all in. I have owned this ski for 2 years and it has yet to run smoothly.... Any hints?

Which carb are ya having trouble with? What jets are you using?
I was told that its better to have the pulse lines the same length. I blocked off the port in the case and added pulse ports in my pto and mag reed spacers. The lines are the same length, and the shorter the line, the stronger the signal.
With that being said, I'm still having a hell of a time getting the carbs right. I wish I had a fellow greenhulk carb tuner near by. I'm losing hair over this carb tuning deal.

I agree... This is a mutual thing with the tuning. I hate them cause they are so hard to tune...

    equal length hoses for sure.

Have you replaced the needles and seats? Or any internals for that matter?
