Thread: Solas or.............

I think my prop may be beyond its best (lost a couple of MPH and seems to cavitate at slow speeds) and am considering my options for a potential replacement
My ski is a 2003 F12X, totally stock and I mostly ride lake but do use it for wavejumping occasionally
I have heard of Solas and Skat Trak but dont know their advantages/disadvantages or if there is any other/better brands
Thanks in advance

I too would like to know... any one that has tested both props on a stock boat...
Will the honda always cavitate coming outta the hole? From a 10 punch on it's knarly, but romping on it coming outta turns or trying to get some pop off a wake is.... needs improvement!

ParkerYamaha.com did have the best price on both the Solas Impeller and the Solas intake grate. They are a great combo, no real speed increase but acceleration and hookup are improved.

I hadnt considered the ride plate as I didnt realise that Solas made one for the Hondas
I looked at Parkery Yamahas website but couldnt see a Solas for the Honda - am I looking in the wrong place?
I recall reading somewhere that aftermarket intake grates were breaking up (causing lots of damage) but I think it was R+D - can anyone confirm this? I assume the Solas does not suffer from this?
