    10.3 lbs of boost

    How the FUCK is this possible .. I thought my gauge was messed up but i sent it back to dynotune and they recalibrated to with in point 2 thast .2 ... how am i seeing 10 plus pounds of boost ?? could that shim have helped that much??????????????????????????????skis is stock except for a home made cold air intake solas prop and riva s/c imp. and i just shimmed the s.c

    did you shim the impeller closer to the housing? that will add some but not 2 lbs.

    yea it's very possible.... but now lets not have the whole forum jump on the bandwagon of shimming SC impellers. this isn't anything new, but it's also NOT something that's perfectly reliable unless u plan on swapping out bearings often... one of those things that has been around awhile that people usually use caution when posting so the entire forum community doesn't start thinking COOL! free mod, and then 50 people have 500 bucks in damage

    i'd say 10 psi is very possible with a shimmed Riva wheel, just be careful

    He shimmed the sc clutch. not spaced the sc impeller out with a shim.

    So does this cause bearing damage ?

    Additional heat (motor/exhaust) creates artifical boost...be careful

    so could getting to 10 pounds of boost cause you to go lean on stock injectors ?
