    X intercooler breather?

What is the small breather pipe on the x model intercooler for what does it do and what will happen if we block it off.

looks down on the left hand side of the pump that water you see pissing out when running on the hose is that line...not sure what will happen if its capped off, but i know riva uses a t-fitting with the gen 2 ic kit and it routes to the exhaust tip i believe...not sure you want to have it capped off or not....

Take a Pic.........will have a better idea...........cause X intercooler has 5 ports on it. 2 are for air charge in and out. Then you have to water ports on the back for water hose A and B. Then you have a port on the front right next to the air in from supercharger which should be a 1/4 hose this hose goes to the pump. I would not block that off. I wouldnt block anything on the factory intercooler as everything there is needed....

My understanding is it allows all the water to drain from the intercooler when the ski is turned off. It prevents water from sitting in the end tanks, preventing corrosion.

dont think so because the fitting is at the top of the IC.

It purges any trapped air allowing all the cooling fins to be completely immersed in water.
