vx110 pumps are the same high pressure pumps the 05 and up gpr's use, i think. not sure if they have the 2" spacer..i think they do tho

The reason for the VX-110 pumps is just happenstance, that worked out very well for me.

    a. I bought the VX pump for my GpRXP, since it uses the same 05+ pump stator, and shares a number of other parts because with the HO GPR pump. I found a 0hr complete VX pump on eBay for less than the cost of a 05+ stator from Yamaha, so I bought it. I was going to use it for parts to make it my gprxp pump. But then I ended up trading Hydrojunkie (Thanks buddy!) for a skat 158 setback so now I had this complete VX pump sitting around.

    b. Just for giggles, I bolted it up to the boat, and the short length of the VX pumps drive system, (pto coupler to transom plate) was nearly the exact same distance to my all fiberglass tunnel, one I added a GPR 2" extension! The pto end of the VX pump is an aluminum 1 piece pto and pump cover/seal & driveshaft in one. (with a rubber damper mount ) its identical to the plastic pump cover/seal you have on the GPR.

So I was just able to glass that cover over the tunnel, and this also allows me to move the engines back further, which I was wanting to do.

So it just worked out so well, that I didn't even have to tear down a brand new pump, and that it gave me a super easy solution for getting the 05+ HO pumps on the boat. I was then able to pick up another complete one for less than $300(transom plate, shoe,to pto coupler I'm a bargain shopper So just from a cost/benefit standpoint I modified the boat to accept then.

Fun Fact: The shaft setup of the vx-110 pump is very similar to the Seadoo pump, in that the shaft splines push into the impeller.

I'm at the lake an have had a few beers, but had to check GreenHulk and get sucked in before hitting the water! So please forgive me if I rambled on, I'm sure I'll edit this later, haha.

It's its sunny with 85 water & 92 air here
I'm out to ride the X ski friends, , have a good one.
