Safety warning for X boat owners

Check your steering head bolts. Mine were loose. I have about 36hour on the ski, and try to ride around a buoy course for excersize at least 3 times a week. Im talking about the four bolts that go through the fiberglass. There is a nut on the inside, make sure everything is nice and tight.

I make it a point to check every fastener before I ride or when I putting it away. Some stuff I caught was scary loose - main hinge bracket, steering bracket.

So good call on reminding everyone on these types of simple checks that could prevent looses pieces on the water or causing a bad accident.

God I'd be pissed if that happened on my $13,000 ski.
