D Plate, cat temp sensor dramas!!!!!

    Hey guys,

Had the D plate installed a couple of months ago and did not have a problem with the sensor going off unlike some friends. First corner of a big race we have over here in Aus and the damn sensor goes off. Since then I have installed the Riva replacement chip but the alarm still goes off!!!!!!
Tried plugging the original plug back in but nup, still does it and this is on start up

    Any ideas please

    Hi
I have the same problem,08 GPR, and i was in the B 2 B as well, since i have put the chip in, i start the ski up and after about a minute the alarm go's off,all i do is stop the engine and then re-start it and its gone.I have been told that its safe to just mute the alarm if you are racing.

Have you checked the other sensor ?

The one thats at the bottom of the exhaust, this was the cause of my beep.

    chip reads 1K ohms (.997)

    Hey Rich,

Do you wire the 2K in series or parallel?

I thought we didn`t need to worry about any chip/or resistor in the 08`s?

sooo if we install a D plate, we have to install a resistor???
