Thread: porpoising.

    porpoising.

    I have a 08 GPR1300,Last week i put my Jims FF Plate on,i have shimmed it and i'm impressed with the extra speed and handling,but its porpoising really bad.I have stepped the sponsons,but still the same.Any ideas on stopping this please.

    Did you shim the trim tabs.

    +1. But don't forget to use stainless or nylon washers And if you shim enough, you'll need to find some slightly longer bolts.

    Agree with shimming the TABS that will fix it.

    But with out knowing a ruff guide to what plate angle your on it makes it hard to work on the problem.

    You could have the plate angled to much is what i am saying.
