    RPM loss

yesterday it was 98 degrees and 100 % humidity in pensacola fl. our stock RXT only was turning 7850-7900 rpms.. is this normal loss due to the weather? and where is the Salt-Away product sold? thx .. Edit: at sea level too.. no elevation

yep it is normal, my rxp will barley go over 7800 in the mornings in the heat of the summer(I live in TX) altho my ski has over 100hrs and probably needs the S/C rebuilt (going to send it to jerry over the winter hopefully, still on the crematic washer too ).

awesome guys thanks i was really worried the last time it didnt turn 8100 the ceramics in the supercharger had let go.. just wait till i post up pics of the most catastrophic engine failure ive seen.. the #1 cylinder on our rxp literally melted away.. the stealership put noo coolant in it after all fluids were supposed to be changed. could this cause such a huge failure?

Are you saying that they forgot to put antifreeze back in it? You should have got an Engine Temp alarm. I know that some say the temp sensor needs to touch the coolant to measure the temp, so maybe that's why no over temp alarm sounded... Ron
