    Loss of speed and RPMs

I just got back from an ocean ride and everything didn't seem right. I seem to have lost some power since yesterday. To me (with little experience) it seemed like the super charger was not working. The RPMs were about 6300 when they're usually about 6700 or more. MPH was about 9 miles an hour slower. Any suggestions for what I should look at first? There was no vibration or cavitation.

    Thanks

Do you have an RXP? Your rpms should not have usually been 6700, should be closer to 8000.

Sorry I thought I had mentioned that my ski is 03 GTX SC with about 140 hours on it. How do I confirm that it is the SCer?

Also, if it is the SCer, am I doing any further damage by continuing to ride it? Is replacing these washers a relitively simple job?

not simple, but not impossible. requires a few *special tools tho...

look at like 400 bucks for each rebuild kit in just parts

Dave: if you want to, I can help you handle that job- I've even got the tools.

You first need to check the slip moment of the SC and see if that's your problem.

I'll pm you my cell #- call if you need help. Vic
