another hole shot idea!
I have another idea, because my ski is an 07 i have to run both waterboxes in stock class. So i was thinking why not drain both boxes dry before a race then when on starting line i should get a better hole shot, of course they will fill up quickly, but i lack hole shot big time. So i was thinking stick a hose connected to pump in exhaust to suck out all water from box #2 then i would have to rig up something to connect to the water tap on box one that would allow me to suck the water out. (maybe a one way valve before a t fitting then put the box connected on the other side and use a capped hose that i can connect a pump to. the valve will allow the water to flow in to the box but but when sucked only allow it to come out the end connected to the pump. does this make sense? Think this will work?

you can remain in stock class and upgrade to componets on a newer model, get a u pipe and get ride of the second water box.

i asked the apba about that and they said I can't or i have to upgrade everything to 08 specs. I am thinking about nationals comming up and don't want to be DQ'ed!

This is one that Patrick Mell from the APBA is watching closely. Ive talked with him in attempts to get it changed to where the 07 would be allowed the Riva free flow to mimick the 08 as to one muffler. Once they found out the exhuast outlet diagmeter change they canned the idea.
