    HELP! 2000 xl1200

The last few times Ive taken my ski out its had problems. After I finally get it started, as soon as I give it gas it stalls, Ive had to adjust the idle to almost 2000rpm just to get it to run. The rpm at idle seems to change byitself +or-. Also going from idle to speed it seems to bog down when I give it gas. I have to feather the throttle to get it going, but once I get it past like 15 mph it runs great. Seems like its not getting enough gas or something. I also get a bout a quart of water in the back of the hull when its in the water.Any Ideas?

Ive changed the plugs, fuel filter, cleaned the carbs which werent real dirty and compression is good on all three.

I am new to the jetski world so any advice will help!

Is it cavitating (like a clutch slipping)? a pump plug kit, tube 3m 5200 caulk and intake grate will fix that part... about 200 bucks and a couple hours... well worth it....

So I ordered the pump plug kit and a new intake grate. As for the 5200 sealant, where can I get that at? Does it have to be ordered or shop any marine store have it? Thanks!

Sounds like it's time for a carb rebuild...
