My SHO seems to have slown down a bit??
Carried them to a small local lake 80+acres did not have gps but the acceleration seemed slower than usual. The factory gauge (which I know is off) always topped right at 69-70 mph mark, now it is hitting 65 and stopping just feels a bit slow. What is the first thing to check?

80 acres, that's a pond. I know that here in East Texas it would be so full of algae and crap that the friction alone would probaly cause a slow down.

altitude and water viscosity.
if the lake / pond is predominantly rain water, it is very oxygenated, hence lacking in bouyancy. If it is stagnent, same outcome, or if it is sedimented, again same outcome.
altitude will make a bug difference too
