What would be the big issues of stufing a 12a in a ski?
I happen to have an extra RX-7 that I might be willing to kill if I thought it could be stuffed in a ski. I have acces to a machine shop if I need mounts, supports made. What would the really hard things about doing this be? I was thinking heat. I know it will fit if I run it without any vacuum lines and put a holley carb on it. I know I can turn 9 grand but would it be worth it?
Also, what are the real differences between a GP hull and a GPR hull? I can score a GP hull a lot cheaper but if it is much slower or cracks easier then I bite the bullet. I'm just throwing around this idea and would like to know what everyone thinks.

I would think dry exhaust would be the killer

That's what we are thinging right now, there is a video that says tey put a 13b in a ski but it doesn't get close enough to tell what they really did. I was toying with the idea of wrapping the exhaust in something, kindu like they used to do with asbestus(spelling????).

Crank-centerline. If it's taller than approx 5.5" then you will be having fun with gear boxes or belt drives.
