I just bought a 2004 RXP that on a test ride was surging RPM to 8000 back to 6000. I figured it was the supercharger and pulled the inlet hose. While it was hot I was able to spin the supercharger with a bit of force. I got it home removed the SC and now it seems that I cannot spin the impeller. Can it be that its on its way to breaking and just slips when it is hot? It seems that the washers are intact. I am going to replace the washers but looking for more advice.
