    Nose Cone comes off:

How can I keep the rubber and plastic boot/nose cone from coming off after a few rides. It seems if I use reverse alot, it`ll come off right away.

this is for the GTX, so it just fits into a reglett/groove. (spelling)
    Thanks...PR...

Impeller nose cone? Leave it off. There have been gains seen by removing it and it is common for it to not stay on.
Jerry gained .7 mph removing it remember

It should not hurt it not being there.

Yes, you put about a thimble full of greas into the prop spline area, then wipe grease on the drive shaft splines, after you install the nose cone, wipe some grease inside so the drive shaft will slip right in there!...PR...

The old pumps cones had this update kit to prevent the rattle. It kept tension on the bearing shaft to keep the rattle down. the rattle was due to the floating driveshaft design.
