    ENGINES

    anyone have a good recomendation on aftm. engines besides Sbt..I've had some problems with the oil pump shaft they send,used them on a few diff. sea doos and didn't last long...something aabout the way they do the cranks in them lets you not be able to reuse stock oil pump shaft.....

    I've read on another site tha SBT uses many things (like bearings, rods, cranks) that aren't available from any company except SBT... Ron

    They have there own pistons as well

    BRP has a special on rebuilt long block sc 4 tecs for $2100 w/exchange. Check with your sea doo dealer. If they dont lnow about it ask them to check into it.

    You get what you pay for. SBT has inexpencive rebuilds and BRP you get factory parts assembled by BRP techs not a bunch of people just came in on the last boat. SBT contracts with venders that are not necessarily from North America. Dont worry we only owe them 500 Billion Dollars

    The oil pump drive shaft that broke apart in my case was a Seadoo design. Further, based on forum members reviewing my pics, the oil pump drive shaft is believed to be an original Seadoo OEM pump shaft.

    hey speed you got the brp part # for that rebuilt 4 tec?

    Yea I would trust the info on that Forum since its owned and opperated and Sensored by SBT and some other realy honest people.
