    Anyone Replaced Riva IC Pipe

Well, the B kit melted the Riva IC pipe that goes from the SC to the IC. Has anyone replaced this pipe with something commercially available? I am getting a replacement pipe from Mark U, but I want to ride today damnit.

I had bought on ebay some mandrel bent pipe that was ok for the pipe that goes to the charger but the one that goes to the throttle body had to many bends, best bet is to go to a muffler shop and get it done. Sucks that the pipes are dectroyed otherwise it would take them no time to get it done.

sure did, I just took the pipe to a local muffler shop and make one out of 2.5in with ends flared to 2.75. It's not a perfect fit but it does the trick . Here's a pic of my old riva pipe.

Franko, my plastic Riva pipe deformed with only 7 lbs boost and very careful tightening ... yeah, Stage 3??? NO effin way ... ALL the plastic Riva pipes will deform - they NEED to switch to metal ... NOW.

I went to a muffler shop, they bent up two pipes, used 2.5", flared the ends to 2.75". It works, no boost leaks, but even with my Les Cooke A kit I am still only getting 7 lbs of boost at 8100 rpms ... I have NEVER seen more than 7 lbs boost with either my RR intercooler, Riva intercooler, stock supercharger, or the A kit supercharger. But boost holds steady now. I wonder if the 'non-mandel bent' 2.5" pipe is somewhat restrictive to boost though ...

RXP Performance, what is the US price of the Piranha intercooler? Are just the intercooler pipes available and what price US$?

    Mine did the same thing.
I was in a pinch so I put a piece of 2 1/2" pipe inside the plastic pipe and flared it so that it was tight.
    It worked perfect all weekend.
