    '00 GPR 1200 set-up questiond for carbs.

Before I get started, Yes I spent most the day looking at all the carb posts before starting a new one. My brain hurts!!

I picked up a basket case special GP1200r with 1/2 of the motor. I have the motor back together but had some questions with the carbs. I got them used and while hooking them realized the choke plates were removed. There are small hose barbs where the shafts used to be. Right next to these are 90* little hose barbs with caps. The tamper proof caps have been removed (I can see the screw heads in the cavity), and the accelerator pump is still in tact. They have 117.5 main jets and 87.5 pilots. I'm installing a D-plate (Ordered from this site's store) and chip. I plan on using the stock airbox.

This rig will be used by my daughters and am only looking for reliability. I will be going premix also.

What should I do before I buckle this thing up and start running it?

The last sentence in my post was the question.
[What should I do before I buckle this thing up and start running it?]

Since I'll be using a D-Plate, and pre-mix, are my jet sizes ok?

For our application (mainly young teen girls), should I alter the accelerator pump and add a primer? (We're looking for ease of use and reliability)

After reading all the mods you guys do, I didn't know how far I should go for a family rig.

    Sorry for the confusion.

This came to me as an empty hull and a few boxes of misc motor parts. My CD isn't very detailed so I'm having to ask some stupid questions. Please bear with me.

I have a vent hose laying in the hull under the carbs that goes to a water seperator with a drain up front. Can you tell me where this goes to?
