    Tell me about fuel mileage

I've been out of the ski game for several years. The last ski I had was a 01 Seadoo XP.

I've heard everybody talk about how bad fuel mileage is on the new Ultra 250. How does fuel mileage on it compare to one of the old 2 stroke 951's?

Right now it's a toss up between the Ultra 250 (friends with a dealer and I like the styling) or the RXTX/RXPX(I like to have the fastest ). Sell me one way or the other!

Both skis get relatively similar mileage. The ultra has a bigger tank...I believe. Stock speed Ultra 64-67. RXT-X 66-69. If you ride in glass get the seadoo. If you ride in heavy chop get the Ultra. Ultra is much cheaper and can be modded to go faster than a stock RXT-X for total cost of less than the RXT-X. Both good skis. The choice is up to you.

Do some searches for fuel mileage threads. There have been a few. From what I can recall, the 250 gets a little less mpg...However, if you are a rec rider, is handles a hell of a lot better in chop and has a lot more storage space...which is a big thing for me.

Use the search feature here and sell yourself. That way you get what you want instead of what someone thinks you want. If possible test ride each before you buy.

Hmmm... seems you just sold yourself.

Remember, Red ones are the fastest.
