    SHO super charger noise

I have 13 hrs on my sho and noticed a sound coming from the front of the engine . If the seat is off and the engine is running on the trailer and you shut it off after the engine stops turning you still hear like a loose shaft spinning that has a loose bearing coming from the area of the super charger. When the engine is running it sounds like parts are loose from the same area. Has anyone noticed this same sound or is this normal for the SHO?

Your very observant, and your right-----yours does have that and those very noises------as so do all the other SHO's out there as well.
Just relax, it's the supercharger doing it's thing, and when you shut the engine down you can here the impeller winding down from very high RPM.

I must admit to having had a concern back in February when I got mine about the rattle. I went back to my dealer and he was good enough to fire up another one he had in stock to see it also sounded the same as mine.

Relax, and enjoy. Mines going well and doing 67.3mph stock.

Same sounds here. Perfectly normal. Also the bilge runs after shutting the unit off for about 20-30 seconds.
