    Seperated IC cooling started:

I started on the seperate cooling set-up for the Riva Intercooler, this is what I have done so far, still awaiting more parts/fittings...

I copied the T-valve rubber gasket as a pattern to make the block-off plate for the thru hull -10 AN 90 degree fitting.

Decided to install the gauge right inline with the IC IN port, I think you would want to see what it is there at the IC, after the strainer.

The Black 45 degree fitting in the OPAS port is Hard Anodized...

to fasten the plate to the hull, I used SS allen head 10-24`s with washers and lok-nuts...PR...

    more to come soon!...

    Sorry pics are so big

If someone wanted to do this mod they could also use the PPG block off ($20)and just drill a hole for the fitting.
I'm patiently awaiting because I have the block off already installed and just waiting to get my drill on it

    PS.
Why the threaded on pic cooling 7. Don't you want to connect a hose to that ?

Yes, Those are called AN fittings, they use a 37 degree flare, which has more sealing surface than regular flered lines. You`ll understand more when you see the finished product...PR...

Wasn't it crappy how that stock T-valve rubber gasket was connected to the hull.... it was just a grip screw. If anything this mod will get rid of that weak link.

I also noticed that my valve was stuck, I tugged on it and then it moved, I wonder just how well these valves worked in the first place!...PR...
