Question 96 XP cover to fit over UMI bars?

Well after putting UMI bars on my XP, the OEM cover doesnt fit anymore. Anyone have ideas or replacements that fit over the bars to cover the ski from dust and dirt when towing?

I have umi's on my xp and the factory cover fits. It is tight but it does fit. I have to work each side on evenly. If I put one side in at a time it does not fit.

    Cut Me Mick

I had the same issue with my RXP after Riva Extensions! I cut a small slit in one bar end and poke it through. I don't trailer with the cover on though, too much whiplash scuffs on other boats.

    Cheers,

+1 too. I cut a slit on the left bar. And I never trailer with the covers on.

Yeah, I've shredded a couple covers that way too.....the wind just rips the older ones apart.

I have the same thing on both my RXP and XP. The XP cover has been re-vamoed such that there are slits on each side of the handles. Each slit has been restitched at the sides and has velcro to close them. A good tailor with a tape measure will do this.
