What's Up with My Fuel Switch?
I just notice that the fuel switch is very easy to turn. When ever I am riding it slips down to like half way between "on and "res." I know that "res" means reserve, but does anyone kno why it is doing this?
Also, when I try to turn it to off it acts like it is on a spring and goes right back to on. If I hold it there the red knob like pops up?!?!

Anyone know? It ran fine, I am assuming it is not an urgent repair, as long as I keep my eye on the switch...

Sounds to me like the selector is stuck and it is just the plastic knob turning on the shaft.

Leave it on the reserve setting anyway!! The only difference between the two is the reserve has a lower pickup in the tank. You want to be on the lower pickup so that you dont suck any air in the lines when in the rough!!

Cool, so I am not going to damage anything if I don't fix it immediately?

it sounds like the o-ring is out of place (could possibly be blocking fuel) and this is probably giving you that spring like action when trying to turn it to off!>scott
