    Cruise control?

    Hey Guys,

Pulling skiers and wakeboarders at a constant speed for hours on end lead to a cramped throttle hand. OK, it SEEMS like hours on end when it is only 20 or 30 minutes. It feels like we are going in slow motion.

So I was wondering if there are any cruise control devices available for the 250X? I am not thinking electronic but some sort of mechanical system you can install on the handle bars.

    Any suggestions?

you could put in the SLO key and hold it at WOT. That way, you can use all of your fingers and just hold it down.

Hmmm, Great idea. I will have to try that next time out.

Cause we all know how easy it is to hold this thing at WOT.

Use a velcro extention cord strap around the lever and under your hand on the grip, that way if you fall or lift slightly, you release the throttle.

You didn't hear that from me...

A loose zip tie would work too. Make sure you have your lanyard on though.

I cut a piece of rubber out of the side wall of a tire. Cutting it to look like stairs. So I could go 40 or wide open throttle. I drilled a hole in the widest part of it and ran a string through it. I removed the tiny screw that is close to the throttle and attached the other end of string to it. I would get to the speed I wanted and then insert it between the opening. All I had to do was touch the throttle again and it would drop out and hang there untill I needed it again.

    This was on my RXP

cant see how setting the throttle could help in towing as you constantly need to adjust rpms for speed when turning and when the skier constantly moves from wake to wake swing on the back of the ski
