dont be so negative on 785's (i got 2) get it runnin and your whole outlook will change.
ck out manuels in tech section. start with motor. then pump, replace hoses as need ck electrical. ck hull may have cracks. might want to reinforce it.
lots of guru's here to help.
good luck and welcome

i am simply just going to get this craft on the water. i want to take all the precautions to make sure it will be reliable.

after you do run it, do a plug color test, running wide open around 60mph for 10 seconds, pull lanyard and ck plug color brown good white bad (lean) black bad (rich) do it on the water unless you feel comfortable running wot toward the beach. i use a chase boat. cking piston wash is better but hard to do without pulling the head.
get on the water and have some fun!

Hey man I just rebuilt my 98 pro 785 this past summer top to bottom (motor, cooling, electric, fuel, pump, exhaust). Needless to say since I built it I havent had one problem and this ski is the most rewarding feeling you'll get. My number is 859-466-2907 and you can send me a message on here whenever and I should respond that day. First things first.....the 785 is one of the best things to ever hit the water, you'll fall in love soon enough.......
