    Is it worth it?

I finally found a stage one kit for the 951 XP. It is through Rossier Eng. and it cost $435. My question is, for the money is it worth it? Will I gain enough horse/speed or am I better off just staying stock?

You never said how you use the Ski. Do you mind having to use 91 oct?... Did you check PPG They Cut your Head and rejet your carbs put on F/A's

Most of my use is cruising with some wave jumping and racing. I want to go faster but maybe I am better off just doing all the basics - new fuel lines, clean rave's, new plugs and running stock. Just thought I would get some helpful input.

$435 for a stage 1 is actually a pretty good price..

Some are voting for a different option for gaining speed but are not listing what that option is. Please feel free to drop a comment/suggestion.

    What year XPL?

Flame arrestors, jets and timing will make a huge diff. Best bang-for-buck.

Followed by a new plastic jet pump & prop.

**Fuel lines and RAVE service are a MUST**

Most of the mods I see are for the carburated 951, what are the best bang for the buck mods for the 951 DI setup?

There's only one option for a DI... PPG's LVL1 kit.

Thanks for the response! That is the kit that I'm looking into. I'm looking to put it into a sportster DI jetboat, so I don't know what impact the kit will have.
