    New '08 K&N Intake Setup...

Just incase you were wondering what the new Factory K&N Intake setup looks like for the '08 S150 SCIC, here's what it looks like:

Funny thing is, here's my latest Intake setup, and I had no idea at all that the new '08 setup looked like this:

If I got a shot just like the '08 one, mine would look pretty much identical.

Where did you mount the stock rectifier?

You can see it in the top of the pic I posted of my setup. It is mounted to the Bracket for the OEM Airbox, with the Bracket running between & touching the Cooling Fins on the Rectifier to make that whole bracket become part of the Heatsink.

It helps if I open my eyes

Any problem with the rectifier overheating with no air passing over it?

Nope, had the Boat out the other day in low 90 degree 100% humidity weather with the Radio blasting (not sure if that will have an effect on the Rectifier) and didn't have 1 problem or hiccup.

Takes about 20 minutes to get to the Island where everyone hangs out. So also not sure if that's enough time for it to give problems.

Next time I go "for the long haul" will be a good test for it. The Boat will be running for atleast an hour straight.
