    S/C Belt?

    Hi,

    When i accelerate 0-60mph the ski sound whery strange maybe between 0-20,30mph.... but the ski feels normal when i crusing, and when a accelerate 30-60mph the ski feels and sounds normal.....what can the problem be? i have a image...

    The screw on the image is the screw to the S/C belt. and that screw is so loose so i can turn it whit my barehand..?! is this right?

    loose belt get it fixed before you go out again

    the screw is the adjusting bolt for the idler pulley as long as the nut on the pulley is tight it shouldn't matter if you try and tighten said bolt you will more than likely break it. as the pulley nut needs to be loose before hand. the said bolt lifts the pulley up and down applying tension to the belt then the nut on the front of the pulley locks it all into place. you would need to remove the plastic cover to see this.

    +1...SNAP...Better order one now...We greased up my new one REAL good, the entire bolt. That way when we go to tighten, or loosen, it does NOT break on us.

    Hi,

    the belt is ok and the fuelpump is also stil in funktion, but the problem is stil there?

    what can it be?
