Steering problem after pump wedge installation

I installed a 2 degree pump wedge about a week ago. The last two times out, I've noticed I haven't been able to turn hard to the left. Is there a steering adjustment that needs to be made after installing a wedge?

yes, at the end of the steering cable, where it attaches to the steering nozzle. loosen the nut on the cable, then you can spin the eye thats threaded on the end of the cable. adjust as needed and tighten up the nut to hold it in place.

Very simple mod to install. It took about 20 minutes. I do not have it on with silicone right now because I wanted to test it out. I plan on re-installing it with some silicone this weekend. I installed this and the riva FF exhaust at the same time and I saw a gain of about 1.5 gps'd mph. I know the FF exhaust does not give you much of a gain, so I'm assuming at least 1 mph of that is from the wedge. I feel it was definatly worth the 90 bucks.

was this on a lake, flat conditions? i was considering it, but i run mostly in small chop 1-2 ft chop and alot of the times with my girl also. i dont want a large amount of bow lift in these conditions....any testing in chop, or w/ passenger?

It was basically glass with the occasional wake, but nothing too much consistantly. I'd love to ride in 1-2 ft chop. The 3 rivers of pittsburgh are pretty calm most of the time.... assuming you don't consider whole trees floating down the river
