Water coming out the steering rod??

I was just checking for a squeek I have been hearing when turning and started to turn my nozzle when I saw bubbles and water coming out of the steering rod? Is this normal? If not what is the fix? I grabbed the plastic nut on there and it seems tight? The ski is an 06 RXP.

Yea unfortunately I'm not sure but I kinda think thats how they are.. seems like that sleeve is detached right infront of the plastic nut... I know my cable is working great right now... a little wd-40 does a lot

Sounds good..I will check it out on all my friends RXP's and see if thiers seem to be like that as well. I noticed that sleeve as well and checked my friends rxp just to make sure mine was not broken in any way but seems to be the same. I will have him check for the water leak after he gets done riding one day. I was planning on the WD-40 but wanted to make sure I didn't have another problem. I just think water in that cable is going to eventually cause me some probs. Thanks!

Thanks, guys that takes a bit of a load off my shoulders. Now, I can get back to performance mods and not have to worry about that.
