    NTB: 787 Head Pipe

NTB - NEED TO BUY, the wife tells me there is a difference between NEEDS and WANTS!!!

96 XP 787 Head Pipe is leaking water from one of the 'Round Humps' on the underside of the pipe into the hull.

If you have a suggestion as to how to fix (JB Weld) or a Head Pipe that you can let go of for a fair price please PM or REPLY!

    Thanks as always

That can be rewelded very easily, probably a $25 fix.

Fast is right take it and have it welded I had it done several times. after you take it off head pipe. I knocked out the four holes myself and cleaned them up with a wire wheel took and had them welded.

i ground all the paint off a couple of mine and fixed with Devcon. welding is good, but devcon is CHEAP if you can get it...JB Weld will work fine too. rough up the surface.

Once it's all rewelded you can paint it a cool color to your liking. Tell the wife "I NEED to paint it so it will last longer".

    Thank you!

Flames would be cool, except if someone else looks inside and freaks out and hits it with the fire extinguisher!!

I once processed about half a fire extinguisher's contents through a XPL engine. dam thing blew in the storage compartment and a ton of powder wne tthrough this big crack in it. engine ran like crap for a little bit too....took forever to restart.

Happened at Norris '06, true story.
