Just purchased a 2003 gp1300-b 70hrs not running for a winter project. Had oil all over the inside of the hull. Pulled the engine last night noticed the oil pump case cracked hence the oil everywhere. Further inspection the #3 piston had just started to wear the cylinder wall lightly scorched. Took the flywheel cover off and wtf the crankshaft is broken at the end. Looks as if the crank broke then pushed the flywheel into the oil pump.
My question is what would you do now?
Block off the oil or new pump?
Rebuild or replace the crank?
Hone the #3 cyl and new rings or ?
Best place to obtain parts?

I'm thinking about getting it going for this season now instead of the winter project so not to many mods yet.
