Help - '06 RXP Won't Start
I attempted to start my RXP for the first time in 4 mos & it turns over fine but it's like it's not getting fuel. What next?
I called the dealer & of course they told me to bring it in but I was hoping to try & resolve on my own. Ran fine the last time out & it has 22 hrs on it.
Thanks in adavnce,

when you put the key on can you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds if not it may be stuck and it will blow the fuse.
Make sure the throttle butterfly isnt stuck and works freely.
If the pump is stuck fill the tank with fresh gas and let it sit for a while (this is what seadoo say to do) as they can stick with a varnish substance when the pump is not sitting in gas (stored with low gas level).

A few thoughts for you...
1. problem may be the fuel itself, for 4 months of idle time you might consider a fuel stabilizer like STA-BIL see here:
2. you might drop in some new spark plugs with fresh gas and see what happens

Yeah I nvr had any intentions of letting her sit but I had a lot going on in my life so now I have to deal with it. Think I'll fill her up with fresh fuel & see what happens.
Thanks for your help guys,

Good luck with it, I have to tell you I can't believe how good these Seadoos have been for starting, we have simply never had that problem going on 250 hours---I love these 4 strokes!!!
well I take that back I did have a bad battery in one, they haven't been bullet proof but overall starting has been excellent...
