    Rxp engine problems

    Hello

    I have a Seadoo RXP 2004 (38hours)

when i bought this machine. It have a max rpm at 7950 - 8000... thats ok i think.. my old machine had max rpm 8150...

    but to the problem..

I was testing the machine.. everyting was ok.. rpm.. engine sound and everyting.

I leave the machine to a "real good seadoo shop" and he did year maintance and fix the SC to -08 ,,, change the washers to steel, bearings and shaft.

when i got the machine back.. it had max rpm.. 7300rpm.. and the speedo was max 63mph... i leave back the machine to the dealer.. he think the sc was the problem. and remove everyting and do it one more time.. the machine was not rev. more than 7300rpm... he remove the sc third time.. and check the newton.. it should be between 12-18nm??? on the sc..

next week he will try to replace the whole SC to a new one from a year modell 2005..

do any one have any wild ideas??? the machine is stock... and it was ok before the sc rebuilding and year maintance

Make sure he didn't overfill the oil when it was in for maintenance. Exact same thing happened to a friend of mine after it got back from service. It was over by a quart.....

    hi again...

now we have tested.. new plugs, new SC, fuel injectors, tested without air intake...

still running only to 7300rpm.. the dealer says that it cant be the gas.. because in is running so good and do not miss fire..

he is gona test to change the ECU.. and check the intercooler.

    Oil level is good...

Some one with more crazy ideas???

If i rev the motor when i take up the machine from water.. it gets upp to 8000rpm... i done that to now... its maybe not good fot the jetpump housing...

what is the problem.. ???? please i want to drive some rxp now

8000 rpms out of the water doesn't mean a thing. The ski needs to be in the water an under a load to test the rpms... Ron

    hi...

i understand that... but i was thinking... that if the machine only rev up to 7300 rpms out the water... but it seems to be some power lost... that the machine dont have enought power to rev out in water.. to max rpm..

It must be something with the intercooler.. because the supercharger was working perfect on the a another rxp..

    but thanks..
