Modifying a Jet Ski Trailer to Carry a Motorcycle
I am looking to put a single channel on my ski trailer so that I can move one of my bikes. The TT500 doesn't weigh too much, so I'm not worried about overloading the trailer. A friend is going to cut/weld a channel so that I can position it on the trailer to maintain a good load on the tongue. The only thing that I seem to need is spacers in between the bunk brackets where they taper so that the channel is firmly supported on the trailer. I will also have a loading channel that interlocks to the main channel for loading & unloading. Any recommendations/comments? TIA... Ron

This is what Loadrite uses for thier motorcycle trailers. It's a Pwc base trailer with pans.
To modify yours. You can use a 2x6" or 8" wood plank and mount it through the crossbars using lag bolts to get a flat solid base for the pans.
