06 RXT supercharger clutch woes
Ok long time reader first time poster and let me say this site kicks butt! Anyway my 06 RXT blew the clutch at 17 hours. I took it into the shop they fixed it on warrenty but now it only revs to about 7200-7400 rpm and the dream metrer only gets up to 60. It doesnt even begin to pull or go like it used to. Could the new clutch be slipping? They used Bopmbardier 4 stroke 10w-30 oil. The level cold is only about 1/8th or less over the upper mark on the dip stick. Hell I think my 01 GTX DI could run with it now. Just for giglles I looked at my other 2 RXPs and their oil levels are almost at the same mark so I dont think the oil could be the problem but I could be wrong. I often am if you ask my wife.

If your oil is over the top bend, that's your problem. The oil level should be about half way between the bends. Over the top bend is way too high.

your prop could be banged up, your wear ring could be grooved, your spark plugs could be crudded up, your supercharger slip moment may be too low, and your oil is DEFINITELY overfilled as Franko suggested.
