Question about boost leak and RPM's

Hi guys, if i'm seeing 8100 RPM on 2005 RXP Stage II(stock ecu), is there a possibility that i still have a boost leak? Because at those rpm's with Green Wheel, XS IC, 42's inj, 3" air intake, riva intake grate, Solas 15/20R untouched, free flow exhaust i got only 71-72 mph on GPS(wear ring and prop are good, there is no cavitation) I think i should get at least 76 mph with that setup.

CHECK YOUR SLIP MOMENT AT YOUR SUPERCHARGER. IT IS PROBLABY SLIPPING TOO MUCH AT HIGH RPMs..

I doubt you have a boost leak. Do you have a boost gauge ?

so there is something else not a boost leak, because i reach peak rpm's easily! What about supercharger slipping? i think with that problem it won't reach peak too..

Those are good rpms for your mods. Speed is low but that could be due to hull setup, trim, rider position, Have you filled the ride plate holes? Due you have a wedge? How much fuel? I would sat you setup if you fill the holes and have a wedge should be close to 75mph with low fuel trimmed out just rite and your weight focused on the rear. Wedge + rideplate holes equals about 1.5 mph.

No, no holes filled, no wedge, my best speed on GPS in superman position, glass water and 2 bars of fuel is 73.2 mph So you say i should check my hull setup for another mph's ?

Absolutly! search the how-to's for filling rideplate holes, truing the grate to the rideplate, etc... I am not familiar with the parts list of the Stage II...do you have the OPAS blockoffs?

Ok, i will install them this week, RE Blockoffs. Do they add some speed? Because when i tested my top speed on gps there was no bouncing.
