Looking at a 96 XP...need some input
Hey, lookin at a 96 XP, and it needs a new fuel gauge and he says it idles low. Anyone have any suggestions to how much I would be looking to spend in repairs? He says it might be something with the carbs?

You'll need to clean and possibly rebuild carbs, then replace all fuel lines.
$$$ will depend on if you do the work or someone else does.

Like...price range? He says the thing runs, and im not worried about the fuel lines. Is this something that could be done over the winter or will it have to be done like...right away

that all depends if you want to put a new engine in it. it only takes a minute to smoke a piston or two. its not that hard to change out the lines. it just takes about 30 bucks for 1/4 rubber lines, and about +/-$100 bucks for rebuild kits. trust me, its cheaper than putting a motor in(+/- $1200). LISTEN to SS! He knows these machines better than anyone.

ok. We offered the guy $1500 for the ski and the brand new trailor and I think hes gonna bite it. He said it might need like a carb adjustment or something like that.
