    Post BP Refinery Recruiting - Instrument & Electrical; Machinist; Pipefitter-welder

    BP is one of the largest oil and gas producers in America and is a major player in petroleum exploration and

    INSTRUMENT & ELECTRICAL
    We are looking for the following:
    • Instrument & Electrical
    • Analyzer Technician
    • High Voltage
    Minimum qualifications are as follows:
    • High school diploma/GED
    • Completion of a recognized Apprenticeship program or

    • Two years Military training in a related field or

    • Four years of I&E or Analyzer experience
    OR
    • Associate’s degree in I&E craft
    • Petrochemical facility experience preferred, but not required.
    MACHINIST
    This work involves mechanical shop or field (millwright) repairs on rotating equipment.
    Minimum qualifications are as follows:
    • High school diploma/GED
    • Completion of a recognized Apprenticeship program or

    • Two years Military training in a related field or

    • Four years of machinist experience
    OR
    • Associate’s degree in machinist craft
    • Petrochemical facility experience preferred, but not required.
    PIPEFITTER– WELDER
    We are looking to fill our Pipefitter - Welder positions
    • Combo Pipefitter/Welders proficient in :
    • Carbon/Stainless
    • Stick and Tig welding
    Minimum qualifications are as follows:
    • High school diploma/GED
    • Completion of a recognized Apprenticeship program or

    • Two years Military training in a related field or

    • Four years of Pipefitter/Welder experience
    OR
    • Associate’s degree in Pipefitter/Welder craft
    • Petrochemical facility experience preferred, but not required.
    All positions require a high school diploma or equivalent. If selected for hire, employment will be contingent upon
    submission to and successful completion of a post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, including a
    hair test for which BP must be able to obtain a sufficient hair sample for analysis
    (~4 cm/1 ½" scalp, > 2 cm/¾"body - arms & armpits/legs/chest).

    What happened to the urine test, they want a hair test, I guess it's going to be a very long time before they someone elligible.
