New long blockiva ECU, Stage 3 break in?

I ended up getting a new long block on my Stage 3 RXP, what type of break in period should I do? Same as a stock brand new one, or just use common sense? I did transplant my valve train upgrade over to the new engine and #50 injectors.

I hear you there, seems the harder (without abuse) their broke in, the harder they run. My concern is seating the rings, which should come in the first few tanks. I was curious on the Riva ECU being able to rev higher.

A proper break in will include running the engine thru all the RPM ranges, even the higher RPM's the Riva ECU is capable of.

Thanks Jerry, I always variate the throttle, from idle to wide open, min rpms to max, but I never try to stay in one position or rpms for more than a few seconds, I was always taught that holding at a certain rpm for extended periods is bad, but other than that have fun....
