Is anyone changing their own oil and using synthetic?
If so what are you using and at what intervals? Yammi charges $6.50 a quart for their oil. For that price I could run a good full synthetic. Anyone have any info on this?

YEs and yes..... Synthetic is fine if you use marine or motorcycle type of synthetic and not car synthetic. the difference is the aditives in the car synth. They add alot off teflon. Teflon additives is the causiing factor that makes the clutch discs slip.
Marine and Motorcycle synth oil does not have the teflon additives and is designed to work in a wet clutch system such as in outboard motors and marine applications and of course motorcycles.
I have been runing mobile 1 synth motorcycle oil in my skis with absoulty no problem. Ive bben useing them for years in all of my mororcycles with not one problem. Mobil 1 of course is just one brand of good oil and there are many out there from u to choose from and that my friend is a whole other ball of wax.
