    93 SL750 Reed Pictures

Here is a pic of my reeds. Two of them have small chips in the corners. Not sure from what, but how much will this really affect the machine? How much are new ones if they shouldn't be used?

BTW- I was wondering where to get a gasket set locally in Toronto... Well found a place in bowmanville 95 dollars. It's called Spoiled Sports.

go into a dark room and look at a light looking thru the inside of the cage and you should only see a thin slice of light if on the cheap you should probably replace the debris damaged one imho

Replace them, fair enough... What do the reeds actual do? I have three in two, two of them have a chip on the left corner. Can you just replace one of the rectangles? Or do you need to get a whole new unit?

An overnight courier can get you parts from a number of Ontario Dealers (or you can just drive there).

I got a TPS overnight Purolator from Black's Corners in Ottawa to Toronto.

There is Central Ontario Powersports in Barrie

And you found Spoiled Sports already.

Or you can order from one of the US parts houses, and pay for shipping and such across the border.

You can buy just the white plastic petals,or replace them with better carbon fibre ones. Just make sure you use lock tight on the screws when you put the new ones on so a screw doesn't come loose and do engine damage. What do they do,They are one way check valves for letting the air/fuel mixture into the cylinders.
