Problems With Quick Shift Trim System (Q.S.T.S.)
I've been having a hard time adjusting the trim on my '07 GPR. I really have to put some muscle into it when I twist the handle, and it's definitely not as smooth as it used to be. (It's almost like trying to twist the handle without holding the purple lever down) When I compared it to my buddy's '07 FX-HO, his was very easy to adjust, and thats when I knew something wasn't right. Could it possibly have gotten messed up when I had my throttle cable replaced a few weeks ago? Any Help/Advice would be greatly appreciated!

First thing to try is to squirt some wd-40 behind the purple piece and twist the trim to work it in. My trim gets stiff after riding in the jersey salt water.Frees right up.

easy test.... remove the storage bucket in the front....you will see the cable/wheel for the trim in there on the side....take the 10mm nut off of the big single cable's rod end and disconnect the cable from the wheel....see if it gets really easy to twist the grip.....if so then the long cable that you disconnected is the culprit...if its still sticky then its in the two smaller cables or grip....
