what to buy 1200 or 1300?
Hey guys i have two options on my plate and want you'lls opinion on them. First off theres a 2000 gp1200r for sale with 110 hours on it. I looked it over checked the hull everything looks good a couple of scratchs here and there but normal for the year. Checked the motor for leaks and hull also checked compression 115 across the board took it out and rode it for about 30 mins no problems found hit 62 several times no problem there. Comes with trailer in good conditon also but needs to be rewired but the guy already has the kit and will throw it in for free. There asking 4200 for it but do you"ll think 3500 would be a insult? Second when i got home i found a 2005 gp1300r for sale with 70hrs on it with trailer asking 6100 obo. I'm thinking i could talk him down to 5500 if everything looks good but what you"lls take on everything 2000 for 3500 possible or spend a little more and get the 1300?

go the 2005 model, its EFI and has the HO pump, you will thank yourself in the long run.
carbs = PITA to tune and maintain, i have one efi and one carb gpr so i know bothof them reasonably well.
however wait to see what the other guys say but i suspect it will be the same
